Why is the App Store offering me updates for an App I don't have? Specifically, Apple Remote Desktop 3.7.1 ?

    Welcome,

     

    If this is for the Remore Desktop Client Update then you do have it - it's built in to OSX and is used when you want to use VNC clients.

     

    If it's for Apple Remote Desktop then is't for the Admin App that drives the above client and is a paid for product. If you didn't buy this then it shouldn't appear. If it has lucky you!

    I had the same doubt.

    I didnt know it was built in OSX and i was quite sure i never installed or bought any such software...

    In my case, its the Remore Desktop Client Update.
