How do I import pictures and videos from my iPod Touch?

How do I import pictures and videos from my iPod Touch? Ever since I received the iOS 6.1.5 update, the dialog box that usually appeared when I plugged in my iPod no longer appears. I went on Control Panel, Hardware and Sound, Autoplay and scrolled down to my iPod device, clicked te drop down box and selected the option 'Ask Me Everytime.' This did not resolve the issue. Help!
