I can't open my documents on Page 09 (too old !), so what ?
I just buy a new imac and grrrrr

Do you try to op en them in Pages 09 or in Pages 5?
If you installed Pages 09 did you update it to Pages 4.3?
I open my old doc from Page 3 to pages 9 (os10.5.8 to maverick) i don't buy a compu every year ;-)
But i read the problem from Page 5 to Pages 9

Pages 5 can not open Pages '08 files, you must first open and resave them in Pages '09.
Pages 5 may actually damage files opened from previous versions, proceed with caution and don'r save until you have checked them.
Read the reviews of Pages 5, it is not an upgrade as such, much more a downgrade.

Oups, my docs are on Page08', version 3.0.3, I try a lot of thing but nothing, I'm still eneable to open my ods docs with Pages09', what I can do more and more…
Are you sure you have Pages 09 (4.3) on the computer. It seems you are trying to open the Pages 08 documents in Pages 5, which doesn't work. You need to save the Pages 08 documents in Pages 09 before they can be opened in Pages 5.
My advise is that you use Pages 08 for your Pages 08 documents and if you need Pages 5 for communication to new iOs devices you use Pages 5.
