Q: 8 GB iPhone 4S is out of memory.

I just replaced my daughter's iPhone 4 with a 4S (8GB).  She tells me that she as no more available memory, and that she frequently can't send and receive texts.  She says that she had only the apps that came pre-installed and has very few pictures and songs.

    You can't go back so ignore that suggestion. Connect it to iTunes and see what is taking up the space in the summary page. If 'other' is over 2 GB, you may need to restore it to get rid of corrupted data.
