Dec 5, 2013 4:49 PM in response to Ammsanby John Galt,You got a very good deal, especially if its memory and HD have been upgraded. The going rate for your model MacBook is greater than $220, it's more like $300 and up, $500 or more for those in excellent condition.
Macs hold their value.

Dec 5, 2013 5:08 PM in response to Ammsanby John Galt,★HelpfulIt's a steal. I doubt that the seller included its original System Install DVD because approximately 0% of eBay sellers do, and sellers who include everything that should be included command a premium price, sometimes hundreds more. Empty Mac cardboard boxes alone sell from $20 to $40.
You can purchase a replacement disc from Apple. You should do that. Call the phone number in the Apple Online Store. The price is reasonable; $25 or so. Apple will need your MacBook's serial number: MacBook: How to find the serial number. Explain that you need a replacement set of original discs and do not give up until you speak to someone who understands what you require.

Dec 5, 2013 5:45 PM in response to John Galtby Ammsan ,But how can I make sure, the parts are not original?
-
Dec 5, 2013 6:18 PM in response to Ammsanby John Galt,Parts such as RAM and hard disks are generic. They don't have to be original, and it's probably a good thing that the HD is not. A seven year old HD would be nearing its life expectancy, if not already beyond it.

BUt overall, I dont have any regrets with the purchase.. AS u said, I'll call Apple n try to get the replacement discs.
