Trying to burn a playlist of 6 short songs from mp3 and Sound Designer to create an Audio CD, 2 second spacing, with Sound Check...when I play the CD, the first few seconds are not there.....it used to work fine for me, new upgrade must be issue??

How short are they? iTunes sometimes has burning problems with very short tracks.
I have been burning these same minute long songs in different order (christmas songs for kids) for xmas plays for the past 10 years….never a problem. This year, cuts off beginnings of the songs….my playlist usually has 4-5 short .mp3 songs…must be the new versions of iTunes - as I tried a couple different versions of version 11 - same thing.
I did discover that if I convert these to .aiff, they burned correctly. You can change how to convert them in general settings of preferences.
