Can you extrapolate trendlines forward and backwards, or send through origin?

Is there a fast and easy way (like in MS Excel) to extrapolate a trendline forward or backwards (say to touch the y-axis).

Also, is there a way to send the trendline through the origin?

The charts don't have that capability like they do in Excel. For a linear fit, you can use LINEST to find the slope with a forced zero intercept and use that slope to extrapolate. If you are not forcing to a zero intercept, you can use FORECAST to extrapolate. Either way, you will need to create a "trendline" data series in your table and plot that on your chart along with your other data.
