iMovie can't add new photos

I'm making a wedding photos slideshow (it's about 15 minutes long) and everything was fine until I got to almost the end and all of a sudden, every time I try to add a new photo, it shows up as the photo that I previously added. Nothing I do can change it - HELP! I need this urgently and REALLY don't want to start over!
