Having to enter a passcode each time I use my iPhone 5S is driving me crazy. Is there a way to disable this security feature?
iPhone 5s, iOS 7.0.4
Settings > General > TouchID & Passcode
then enter passcode and select Turn Passcode Off
Just remember if you turn off the passcode lock and you lose or if your phone is stolen, you info will be available for that person to see and use.
You can use your fingerprint with Touch ID instead of manually entering a PIN number. See this for more info about Touch ID -> iPhone 5s: Using Touch ID
You can also disable passcode and Touch ID from Settings > General > Touch ID & Passcode.
