Dec 6, 2013 9:37 AM in response to subarustevoby Winston Churchill,★HelpfulIf it opens just fine when you temporarily disable iCloud pages syncing, try the following...
- Turn off iCloud for Pages on your mobile device at Settings > Pages > Use iCloud > Off.
- Open Pages on your computer and move any documents in iCloud to your desktop for safe keeping.
- Navigate to system preferences > iCloud > Manage and check that Pages documents are not taking any space in the cloud, delete them if they are.
- Enable iCloud syncing for Pages on your mobile device and launch the App.
- If Pages now opens properly, start to add back documents from your desktop one at a time (or in small groups if you have many).

Jan 9, 2014 6:51 PM in response to subarustevoby Roger Lier1,Same thing is happening to me on a iPad mini Retina. Apple phone support had me Reset All Settings and it worked for several minutes, then started crashing again. I have Reset All Settings several times in Settings>General>Reset and each time it works for several minutes and then starts crashing again.
When I turn off Use iCloud in Settings>Pages, all my iCloud documents are there and Pages seems to be working, but the documents are not syncing with the ones in iCloud.
Pages syncs fine with iCloud on my iPhone 5s and iPad 3rd Generation. The only difference is that on my iPad mini there are different Apple IDs being used for iTunes and iCloud. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4895 says this is fine to do. I tried making the Apple IDs the same on the iPad mini and it the same crashing occured.
subarustevo, are you using the same Apple IDs for iCloud and iTunes?

Jan 22, 2014 9:59 AM in response to subarustevoby iGeekPhonePad,It is a directory issue with iCloud and IOS, not anything to do with the actual IOS applications. With the latest update the directories got screwed up (most find a duplicated and EMPTY folder). You MUST login to iCloud from a Mac to access the directory information. If you don't own a MAC, sign in as a guest on a buddy's, or go to the closest MAC outlet that will let you jump on one of theirs. Navigate to the iCloud directory using your iCloud account. Find the duplicated or other screwy folder (people have reported various issues, but a good scouring should detect the issue). Delete or otherwise fix (some people copied all their documents to local drive then back again) the issue, and save your changes. Logout of the guest account and it will automatically delete your personal iCloud information as part of the "Guest" account security. Open up iOS application making sure your iCloud settings are on, and you should be able to access your documents once again without Pages (or others) crashing. Some people are reporting performance issues only...that may just be a function of your model of iDevice. The olders ones barely run iOS7 and the new updates. Sorry to tell you, it may be time to upgrade, which is exactly what Apple intended!!!
