facebook issues on theipad mini

I am having trouble with facebook on my ipad mini. it won't accept my password. I have tried to reboot. i have tried to sign out of fb, but it won't let me (does not give that as an option). i have tried to delete but it just won't do it. Basically i have read through all the suggestions but none are working. Any ideas?
