I have a bunch of rules to put mail from certain companies or people into mailboxes I made for them. Now many of them are not working, and the mail is ending up in my main box, instead of putting it in the mailbox I want it to be moved to.
Short of deleting the rule and doing it again, what do i need to do to make it work??

Apply rules
- To apply rules to messages in mailboxes, select the messages, then choose Message > Apply Rules.
- When you disable an account, rules applied to the account’s mailboxes are also disabled; you must enable the rules again after you reenable the account
- Mail stops applying rules when the Stop Evaluating Rules action is used, or when a message is transferred to another mailbox by rules used on a server or on a computer or device synced to your computer.

Yeah my Rules are very hit and miss about working, too. It's completely unreliable.
My rules are also often ignored, but they work more often than not (small comfort). Another of those things Apple doesn't care about fixing. It's been like this for quite a few years.
Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem solved sooner.
