When I try Itunes to sunc up, the message on the computor comes up as I tunes has stopped working, windows is checking for a solution, I have tried re-installing with no luck, did not have this when I had Windows 7, Now have Windows 8.1, frustrating.

If you're still having a problem, here is the very simiple fix for that problem. I had the same thing going on with my Windows 8.1. You're just going to copy and paste a file. I did reboot afterwards to make sure it "took."
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
