If you're still having a problem, here is the very simiple fix for that problem. I had the same thing going on with my Windows 8.1. You're just going to copy and paste a file. I did reboot afterwards to make sure it "took."
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
