how do i transfer my photos and videos from my old iPhone 4 to my new iphone 5?

this old iphone 4 is stuck with the itunes logo and a usb connection pointing upward at it and i can't get out of it - I've not used the phone for a few months since i got my new iphone 5 and now want to get my pics and videos off of it onto my new phone

can anyone help?
