hello, i have ipod touch 4g version 6.1.5 and can i add a phone number because my emails for some reson dont work on imessage or on facetime but i was thinking maybe my phone number would work and when i typed in my phone number i said invaild email. so please help me!!!! and is it possilbe to download IOS 7 on ipod 4 cuz my friend has it on his ipod 4 ?

The only way is to get an iPhone with iOS 6 or later and use the same Apple ID for Settings>Messages

As Apple said in June, iOS 7 is not compatible with the 4G iPod.
All the iOS devices compatible (iPhone 4 and later, iPad 2 and later, and 5G iPod touch) with iOS 7 have at least 512 MB of memory (RAM). The 4G iPod only has 256 MB
