Will my 15" rMBP overheat while gaming in bootcamp?

I was planning on installing Windows 8 and I was just wondering about heat issues. My dad's 2009 MBP gets really hot and I was wondering if the 15" rMBP will get so hot that it overheats. I was trying to figure out if the fans were controlled by the logic board or if they were controlled by the OS. I couldn't find anything so I ask my question: If I am playing games such as Skyrim, Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas, will the laptop stay cool enough so it won't overheat? I'd really hate to buy windows 8 only to find out that I can't play some games on it.

The MacBook Pro will overheat, more with games. Games require the highest CPU and GPU performance and they will generate more heat. Also, note that MacBooks Pro are not designed to play games, so I would recommend a PC instead if you want to play games.

Theoretically, fans should turn on when your Mac is overheating to keep it cool, and you should be able to play to all those games. However, I recommend you not to play for a long time if you do not want to have problems in the future
