Q: Keep getting error message: "iTunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn CDs, you need to reinstall iTunes."
I got a 4th generation iPod shuffle and after installing iTunes version 11.1.3, my laptop cannot detect the iPod. iTunes could not recognise my iPod as well. I keep getting the error message: "iTunes was not properly installed. If you wish to import or burn CDs, you need to reinstall iTunes." I've followed the steps in the troubleshooting FAQ regarding the registry edit solution to no avail. I ran the diagnostics and the result says:
