IPad was working fine & fully charged. Screen is now black & non-responsive. Is there something I can try or should I take to service center?

Try reset iPad
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected.

IPad less than 1 year old was working perfectly & was fully charged. Went back 2 hours later & it was blank screen & will not respond no matter what I do. Have fully charged but still black screen & non-responsive with nothing happening when I try to turn
