Help me!!!!

I reset my password to 1-1-1-1, and I typed it in very slowly so this wouldn't happen... but it did. I wanted to reset it because it was too easy. So I went in Settings > General, and selected passcode lock. A thing popped up with a keypad saying " type your passcode ", so I typed 1-1-1-1 just like I had before. Then it said I got it wrong, and I realized I would be locked out of my iPod if I put it into sleep mode. So I adjusted the auto lock settings so it wouldn't auto lock so soon... but when I went to sleep... I woke up and it said " type your passcode " I ended uo trying like 17 times and I got locked out for a really long time. Can somebody help me?????

Forgotten Screen-Lock Passcode

Connect the iOS device to your computer and try to make a backup

iOS: How to back up

Then restore via iTunes. The iPod will be erased. Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode if necessary to allow the restore.

If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

For how to restore:

iTunes: Restoring iOS software

To restore from backup see:

iOS: How to back up

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
