Q: help can't get the dvd to read

I canot get the dvd player purchased from apple to read the disc , also i cannot get office 2011 to download

iMac, dvd apple microsoft 2011

    Give us something to go on.

     

    What computer do you have?

     

    What DVD player did you purchase?

     

    Does the lack of reading inserted DVDs or Cds happen to ALL disks or only one?

     

    Also - Problems with downloading MS products need to addressed by Microsoft support (on this forum)
