Where is this invisible app???
I can't find it anywhere in the UK store.
ITS NOT SHOWING UP IN SEARCH OR APPLE OWN APPS :(

I dont know of a "new" app, but the app is called "App Store", and is part of the iOS, which is why you cannot find it online. It's in your iPad somewhere, as it cannot be deleted.
It's in the UK store, but it's optimised for the iPhone - after searching for 'Apple Store' tap the 'iPad Only' button at the top left of the results screen and select 'iPhone Only', that finds it on my iPad.

I don't know about the UK but in the US there is an App Store and and Apple Store app. The former is used for apps and the later is used to order hardware from Apple.
Exactly, that is what I'm using, the iPhone app on my iPad but a new Apple Store App for ordering direct from Apple was released specifically for iPad, unless it's in the US only

It looks like it's not here in the UK - I don't see it on my iPad nor on my Mac's iTunes

It's possible that it's only been released in the US so far.
