I have PowerMac G5 with OSX 10.4.11 (Tiger) and iTunes 9. I got an AppleTV that needs I tunes 10.5 so I can stream movies from my Mac. To get iTunes 10.5, I need to upgrade my OSX to 10.5 (Leopard). Can I do this? Is my PC compatible with Lion?

No.
It is compatible with Mac OS X 10.5 which is Leopard. Upgrading to 10.5 requires buying the 10.5 retail installer disk which is expensive. To read more about it, see this user tip. The maximum operating system your Mac can get is 10.5.8.
10.6 is Snow Leopard.
10.7 is Lion.
Upgrade PowerMac G5 to Lion
