How Do I Create A Disclosure Triangle?

I'm using Cocoa-Applescript, Xcode.

How can I have a list of Disclosure Triangle buttons that, when clicked, reveal an expanded list of clickable buttons/items? I can only really show what I mean through this bad quality drawing:

The first image is the default, and the second image is when the top Disclosure Triangle is clicked and its items are displayed below. What do I create, link, and modify, and what code do I put to make this happen, in Cocoa Applescript, Xcode? (All help is greatly appretiated)

MacBook Pro, OS X Mavericks (10.9)

The disclosure triangle is just a type of button - any other behaviors, such as dropping a menu or adding a view (including resizing the window to accomodate it), are entirely up to you.

When the button is clicked you just add (or make visible) the view with your menu/buttons/textview/whatever. If you need to resize the window you can use something like NSWindow's setFrame:display:animate: method - other adjustments would depend on your view constraints.

He is using AppleScript. That rules calls to NSWindow out. Applescript is not for building GUIs. Sorry

You might want to check out AppleScriptObjC then - it allows the use of Cocoa methods from AppleScript via an Xcode project or a Cocoa-Applet template, and can easily build a GUI application.
