iWork 09 does not appear among the purchased apps. How can it be updated?

iWork '09 was loaded from an Apple DVD. After installing Maverick, now and then I'm advised that an update is available either for Pages or for Numbers. When prompted, I accept to install the update, but nothing apparently happens. As a consequence I don't know whether I have the last versions. Actually they are: Pages '09 Version 4.3 (1048) and Numbers '09 version 2.3 (554). Should I buy Pages and Numbers from the App Store? Thank you.

If Numbers and Pages '09 are working for you, stick with them. The new versions of Numbers and Pages have new features added (for better conversion between Mac OS X and iOS) but have lost some (many?) features that require workarounds.
