What version do you have?
Is the start in 32 bit mode nox unchecked when you "get info?

I bought Logic Pro in late 2009/early 2010.
When i go to applications it has the circle with a line through sysmbol over the app and i cannot open it.
If i 'get info' i cannot see anything as you have described above.
Thanks
You haven't told us wjhat version of Logic you have.
It sounds like you have an old and incompatible PowerPC version of Logic, which you'll probably need to update.
Indeed.. Run software updates to update Logic Pro 9 to the latest vesrion...
Thanks, I didn't realise but my Mac was waiting to do some further updates. Once updated, Logic Pro is working.
Cheers
i brough logic pro 9 back in march and it wont open it acting for the serial number and when i went into the app store it say this program is no longer in UK what should i do? should i get a refund?
The version of Logic Pro 9 sold via the App store doesn't require a serial number... Only the DVD version of LP9 requires a serial number. If it is asking you for a serial number and you are sure you initially bought LP9 via the App Store... then you will need to contact Apple directly and ask for their assistance.
If you initially bought LP9 via the App Store then it will be under the Purchases tab in the Mac App Store application so long as you have signed into the App Store using the same Apple ID you used to purchase LP9 in the first place...
Note: You won't find it anywhere else in the App Store because it isn't sold any more by Apple.
Since updating to Mavericks, Logic Pro will not open.
