while starting iphone it showing insert sim card but i already inserted sim.can any one help me

• "Your iPhone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarily unavailable."
• Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it or try again in a couple of minutes
• I already inserted sim card,but dont know why it showing like this?

Can anyone help??????
