I keep trying to install the migration assistant from pc to mac and the software will not install. It continues to get interrupted.

I am trying to install the Migration Assistant that will transfer my Itunes accout from a PC to a MABookAir. The install is interrupted and unable to complete. Would someone be able to walk me through where the glitch might be?
