Q: No extra ports to connect my TV monitor on iMac.....

I have a dilemma with my new iMac computer.   Apple did away with the 800 Firewire port on the 2013 model and now I can't connect my TV monitor via DVI/Thunderbolt to my AJA IO device.    My Thunderbolt (2 ports) are being used up by my second monitor (for editing footage) and the other Thunderbolt port is being used for my external drive.  My other external drive is connected daisy chain to the Thunderbolt external drive because for some reason my iMac locks up everytime I use a USB 3 external drive (ie: Lacie) and therefore I can't utilize the USB 3 ports to save on having my Thunderbolt ports.

So I'm trying to figure out if there's a way to connect my TV monitor via the AJA IO which only has an 800 firewire port to my iMac.  I understand there is no 800 to USB adapter because this is not a compatible adaption.   I can't daisy chain my Thunderbolt, because all the Thunderbolt drives I have, only have one Thunderbolt port (defeats the purpose of daisy chaining!).

Am I out of luck and unable to connect a TV monitor to be able to color-correct my edited footage (the iMac image is not acceptable for accurate color-correcting to pass QC)?

Thank you!
