Q: How do I delete songs from my iphone 4s that are on my phone?

When my kids were on my apple account all of their songs transferred to my phone somehow and I would like to delete them but when I open my itunes on my phone it just has a cloud where I used to be able to slide and delete. My songs are not stored in the cloud.
