I am not able to download music from windows to my i pod touch

What happens when you try yo sync music from your computer's iTunes to your iPod ? You should be able to sync music by connecting the iPod and selecting it on the left-hand sidebar of your computer's iTunes (you can enabled the sidebar via control-S on iTunes 11 on a PC), and then use the Music tab on the right-hand side of the iTunes screen to select and sync the music that you want on your iPod.

Is that how you are trying to do it and it's not working ? And if not, do you get any error messages ?
