i simply want to export all the text from all my Widgets/Stickies to a .txt or any format.
i tried using this method, but was unable to find either this dir
~/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.stickies.plist
nor this StickiesDatabase.
please help thanks!
In Finder, hold down the option key while selecting Go in the Finder menu bar. Select your library. That should allow you to find the items you want.
You can run this command in Terminal to make your user library visible also.
chflags nohidden ~/Library/

unfortunatelty the "StickiesDatabase" is related to the app STICKIES..and NOT the Widget Stickies.
2 diff apps.
google search turned up nothing..incredibly.
The file that store widget stickies data is:
~/Library/Preferences/widget-com.apple.widget.stickies.plist
which isn't much help. Copy and paste seems to be the only option as far as I can tell.
