ipad 2 ios 7 screen rotation - stocked in portrait
I have tried all the suggestions found in here and even resetting the iPad via iTunes but the screen still won't rotate to landscape. Anyone out there who have THE solution?

Open Control Center by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. Tap the icon with a lock on it and an arrow going in a circle around the lock.
Have already tried opening Control Center besides all other tips 'n tricks found in here without any luck :-(
Well, what happens when you tap the button I told you to tap?
Well, when I tap the button it displays a short text informing me that the rotation is now unlocked and the locking icon disappears from "top bar"(next to clock etc. ).
Exactly as it is suppose to do. However the screen is still locked(!). It does not rotate.
So nothing happens.
ios 7 introduced a new setting that has to do with the new animations of the Ipad and it affects the Ipads rotaion ability.
Go to-
-Settings>General>Accessibility>Reduce Motion (turn it on)
-Then shut down the ipad and reboot it.
Very, very odd! Try backing up your iPad and restoring it.
Settings > iCloud > Storage and Backup > iCloud Backup > Back Up Now
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings (this will wipe your iPad completely)
Then when you set up your iPad again, tell it to restore form the backup you made at the beginning of this post.
I had the same problem. Tried all the suggestions, but nothing worked. I did a full reboot and it then went back to normal.
I have found the solution.
Hope this can help others with same problem.
