Why is Itunes 11.1.3.8 syncing some songs to the cloud, when I haven't told it to?

Recently my Ipad 3 has started to sync songs from my PC to the cloud, without me telling it to!

I'm using Windows 8 and have been since January, with no previous problems. I'm using IOS 7.0.4. Only some songs are synced to the cloud, not all of them. I'm syncing using a wired connection to my PC.

I recently upgraded from an Iphone 3GS to an IPhone 4, and this problem is also happening on that device. These problems both started at the same time. My library still syncs perfectly well to my 3GS.
