Cannot sign up to Netflix through Apple TV 3

I am trying to sign up for Netflix through my Apple TV 3.

My main objective is to be billed through iTunes. And according to the Netflix web site the only way for that to occur is to sign up for Netflix through the Apple TV.

After numerous attempts on BOTH of my Apple TV's I continue to receive the error "Netflix App Error ATV UI-20, Please try again"!!! My ATV is virgin and I am not using a VPN. I know my ATV works with Netflix as I have used a friends' account successfully.

I have unplugged the ATV and have also rebooted our router as recommended by the online chat session with Netflix. No doubt I don't feel all that confident with the help from Netflix and am hoping to hear from some one that may have a resolution that acutally works. So if you have.....let us know.
