songs are missing on every album

Since I purchased itunes Match nearly every album is missing songs in my library. Anyone else having this problem?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Thank you Judy but This did not help. Apple support could'nt help and Itunes store support couldn't help either.

I am seeing it on a Macbook Pro. I had a library of some purchased songs, some purchased albums and a lot of imported CDs. On the imported CDs many songs are mising on at least 50% of the albums. Some albums are complete. This only happened after I purchased Itunes Match. Thanks for your interest.

By "missing" do you mean you literally no longer see the songs in your library? If this is the case I believe there must be something you are leaving out in your description. Do you have a backup?

The songs are gone from my library. It is odd because:

1 This never happened before I purchased Match

2 Some songs on an album are still in the library and some are not

3 Some albums are fine and about 50% are not

I have a backup but it is about a year old.

The songs are missing but I don't know what I am leaving out of my description.

Can you use Spotlight and find the tracks on the internal HDD?

Thank you for the suggestion. I have now tried that but I search for an album in spotlight into the itunes folder and it lists the songs but the list only matches what Itunes shows me is still on the album and is missing the same songs that are missing in my albums in Itunes. I do not know the names of the songs just that for example songs numbered 3,4 &7 are missing.
