No video on early 2008 MBP

My MBP doesn't show any video upon power up. What it has is:

• Fan and drive noise

• LED sleep light on

• Power to USB

There is no chime and the caps lock light doesn't come on either. I have absolutely no idea as to what the issue is or how to resolve it. Any ideas or suggestions as to how to fix this?
