Q: Question about clearing IPhone 5 with broken screen...

I am trying to clear everything off my Iphone 5 before I return it to Apple as part of the insurance deal, but I cant see the screen to put in the passcode. So Itunes wont let me work with the phone when its plugged into my compurter, is there anyway to bypass this?

Thanks for your help!

No.  That is one of the main security feaures.  If you are sending the iPhone for an AppleCare+ replacement, it will be destroyed.

If you really want to erase the device, you should do so by logging on to iCloud.com.  Select devices and opt to erase the iPhone in question.
