Dec 9, 2013 4:27 AM in response to Gilbert38by Skydiver119,You really can't. The only way would be if you had access to her mail to delete the receipts from iTunes, and since those can come in minutes or days after the purchase, the chances of you getting them all is pretty slim.
It's a nice effort but there's really no way to do it without ruining the surprise.

Dec 9, 2013 11:52 AM in response to Skydiver119by Gilbert38,Thankyou for your reply. I don't know if this makes a difference, but the music I want to load on the new ipod is on my computer. It's both tunes I purchased from iTunes, and stuff from my own CDs. I'm thinking maybe I can do it on Christmas Eve, and then she won't see anything on her PC until after she has received her present. Is there an alternative, though?

Dec 9, 2013 11:55 AM in response to Gilbert38by Phil0124,Music purchased from iTunes is tied to your Apple ID. As such you cannot put it on her iPad with her details/Apple ID as it would not be authotized to play it.
Its a nice effort, but just give your partner the iPad and let them set it up and get their music. In the end it will be better this way.
