Q: iTunesU double speed

I've found that since the last software update, the 1/2x, 2x video playback speed button does not do anything. The lectures that I could watch in double speed I can now only watch at normal speed. Has this happened to anyone else?

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 7.0.4

After updating to iTunes U 1.4.1, the speed button works again.
It changes between 1x, 1½x, 2x and ½x
