Q: Time Machine - sparse bundle could not be accessed (error (null))

The backup disk image “/Volumes/ReadyNAS/My iMac.sparsebundle" could not be accessed (error (null)).

This problem started only after I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Maverick. Been searching for a solution online but none seems to work.

Anyone has any idea how to get TM to work again? Upgrading to Maverick is a huge mistake!

Help much appreciated! Thanks!!!

FYI, I ran into problems some time ago (again). TimeMachine would not recognise my ReadyNAS, although I could use the ReadyNAS for normal file transfers. I finally decided to retire my ReadyNAS from TimeMachine and only use it for normal files. Since then my ReadyNAS has been just fine. I then bought a standalone USB HDD for use with just TimeMachine and that setup has worked as well. My conclusion is that Mavericks and especially TimeMachine are not ready for NAS devices - yet.
