OS X Maverick Muted

Hey everyone,

The sound on my macbook pro (early 2011) is muted. I've tried restarting and shutting the macbook down and it still won't work. This has never happened before the Maverick upgrade. I've tried killing coreaudio in the Activity Monitor and it won't go away. Can someone help me? I really appreciate it.
