Music from cloud doesn't play

Talk about a buzz kill! Couple times now we've had a party and while trying to play songs off my iphone via bluetooth to a jambox the songs don't play - CRICKETS!

I've had enough of storing my music in the cloud. Great in theory bad in application. We have great wifi and cell service (Verizon LTE) - but when the phone tries to get songs from the cloud and there's dead silence it's a mood killer.

How do I turn this off so all of my songs go back onto my iPhone?
