App content recovery

I've recently updated my prompter app only to find changes that completely inconvenienced me, so, on advice from the app developer site, I uninstalled it but lost my content - lyric files. I have since reinstalled the app, and even paid for a pro version.

Is it possible to go back to a date before I did this, via iCloud, and recover my old app and content?
