Q: how do you sort in numbers

Can anyone tell me how to sort colums or rows in Numbers?  It appears to me Apple has made a Spreadsheet that can not sort columns and rolls.  If it is possible I apoligize to Apple, but so far I have not found any way.

Thanks for any help.

multi-column sorting (as a single step) was dropped.  Here is a list from Apple the details items they plan to add back in over the next few months:

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT6049

You may continue to use the previous version which is located in the folder "/Applications/iWork '09"

You may also provide feedback to Apple using the menu item "Numbers > Provide Numbers Feedback"

Finally you can sort multipl columns (one column at a time) where you start with the "least significant" column and work your way towards the most significant column

    Hi Jeldee,

Sorting is easy in Numbers 3. You click the triangle by the column letter and choose your sort.

If, in this example, you wanted the data sorted first by Author, and within that by Copyright, and then by Title, all you have to do is sort by the Title column first, then sort by the Copyright column, and then finally by the Author column.
