buzzing noise after few min/hours of playing music in itunes

Hi, i was listening to music using the itunes, then suddenly the sound went bad it was like a buzzing loud noise that didn't stop so i have to force shutdown my macbook, less than a week ago i upgraded my memory from 8GB to 16 GB, could there be any posibility that this causes the problem? please help.
