Q: i need to have broadband to used

i just get a 3t time capsule but i cant conected to internet, wifi apers on my mackboock with a signal "!" but if i connect my laptop with the cable to the tc it works 

time capsule , OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

    You need to give us a heap more info.

     

    What modem you have? Does it have wifi? Is it a router?

     

    Does the TC work in bridge or router mode?

     

    Have you done a factory reset and used very short names for wireless.. with no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Use no security to start with.. if you then get a connection add wpa2 personal security with a 10-20 character password.

     

    Try fixed wireless channels.
