No. If the phone had adequate charge out of the box, continue using till it goes down or till you want to ensure having a full charge (like when you know you'll be away from any convenient way of charging).
Settings / General / Usage / Battery percentage is useful to enable as it will show you the charge level in the upper-right corner without having to visit the settings.
