Syncing iTunes with my iPad Mini

HI there,

I have recently purchased a iPad Mini, I have already got a iPod Nano 5th Generation and an iPhone 3G for which my iTunes are synced. When I tried to connect the iPad to my computer to sync up with iTunes nothing happend?? I did not get a message asking if I wanted to sync with iTunes, it dosen't even charge whilst connected to the computer. Hopefully you can help, really want to get this sorted before Xmas.

Welcome to the Apple community.

Does it appear in the iTunes device list, have you checked the content you want to sync and applied your settings.

The iPad may not show it's charging (but it does if somewhat slowly from a computer)

It does not appear in my devise list, it shows up on the PC but that's it. How do I get iTunes to reconise it and sync up?

Like when you connect a device to your PC with a USB cable, I have the iPad connected now and iTunes does not appear to recognise it.

If your PC recognises the iPad and you are sure that iTunes doesn't, there may well be something wrong with iTunes on your computer. You will be best asking in the iTunes for windows community.
