portable speaker for ipod nano 2nd gen?

I have passed my old iPod Nano 2nd Gen on to my Dad and want to get him a portable speaker for Christmas. Can anyone suggest a compatible speaker dock? I have a JBL On Stage Micro 2 and was thinking of getting the same (don't really want to spend more than £50) but don't know if it will be compatible.

Can anyone help or suggest an alternative?
