RAM upgrade for a iBook G4 933 Mhz

I have a
Machine Model: iBook G4
CPU Type: PowerPC G4 (3.3)
Number Of CPUs: 1
CPU Speed: 933 MHz
L2 Cache (per CPU): 256 KB
Memory: 384 MB
Bus Speed: 133 MHz
Mac OSX 10.3.9.

I want to upgrade the memory. Do I have to take out the existing memory?
Do I have to add two modules or just add one new module?
How much can I put in, 1Gig?
What tyoe of memory do I need and the bus speed?

Your iBook has 128 MB of RAM soldered onto the motherboard which is not removable or changeable.

Your iBook also has a single RAM expansion slot. You will need to replace the 256 MB that is in that slot with a larger capacity device.

Apple reports a maximum RAM of 640 MB (installing a 512 MB SO-DIMM) but users report that it will work with a 1 GB SO-DIMM to give you 1.128 GB of total RAM.

Your iBook G4 requires PC2100 SO-DIMM 200-pin modules. DealRam.com and RamSeeker.com list the current RAM prices from Mac knowledgeable vendors with lifetime warranties.
